May Creative Writing Course in Galway - short stories

Lunchtime writing classes at the Galway Arts Centre start up in May!

I'll be facilitating a short story workshop, for anyone who has taken a fiction workshop before, and would like regular deadlines, encouragement and feedback. In this workshop, we will delve into the craft of writing short stories, discussing and trying out our discoveries in a supportive environment.

Classes run on Mondays from 12:45 to 2:15pm for 6 weeks, and cost just €70.

My fiction workshop kicks off on Wednesday 18th Tuesday 17th January (note changed day!) at the Galway Arts Centre. It runs from 7pm to 8:30pm for 10 weeks, and costs €110. There are still some places left - contact the Galway Arts Centre at 091-565886 to book your spot.


Classes are fun and interesting: there will be a mix of writing exercises and discussion, with participants giving and receiving feedback on the fiction writing assignments they work on at home. The workshop is a supportive environment, and provides a weekly deadline to help get those creative impulses down on the page.
