Here's a link to a few recent poems in the online journal Live Encounters -- featuring cats, a teenager, and hidden illness. They're from my forthcoming collection I Imagine Myself, soon to be published by Salmon Poetry.
I Imagine Myself
This collection claims the freedom to have a visible midlife as a woman. And to be honest, I haven't done this much navel-gazing since I was a teenager. Expect honesty and humour, with a direct look at the world through the lens of a middle-aged woman.
Let's break the taboo of women ageing, read a poem and talk about the trials and joys of living longer lives.
